It is the funeral of Irene Stockton tomorrow afternoon, Friday 15th May, at 2.00pm in Audlem St James' church.
Irene's family has asked that bright colours be worn to celebrate Irene's life. Flowers by choice, donations if desired to Chester Zoo.
Irene died in a car crash in Whitchurch, aged 66, on Thursday 30th April. She was an Audlem Parish Councillor from 1995 until 2011 and was very well-known locally having lived in the village all her life and over many years had worked in local pubs.
As a parish councillor, she was very heavily involved in the improvements to the children's play ground next to Audlem playing field. The parish council held a minute's silence in her memory at their meeting this Monday.
Irene is the beloved husband of Derek, mother to sons Jeff, Steve and Rich and nana to Melanie, Emma, Joe, Harry and Alice.
