Fundraisng in memory of her father

Six years ago this month, Sarah’s very well known and very popular Dad, Les Walley, was killed in an accident as he drove home through Hankelow.

Sarah has set herself a challenge to do something big in memory of Les and is embarking on a drive to raise funds for Audlem Cemetery and, in particular, towards the cost of the new memorial to the forgotten ones buried there as paupers of the parish.

Accordingly, she is gathering sponsors and she will then be at The Lord Combermere on the 21st December to have all her long blond locks cut off by those there who wish to pay an extra £5 for the privileged of aiding her in her plan. 

Sponsorship forms will soon be in evidence.
