Fun Dog Event In The Courtyard

So Sunday 1st of July is our first Fun Dog Event at Number 11 Cheshire Street – The Courtyard.

After contacting several local dog rescue centres with no luck I approached a Sanctuary close to my heart. In May 2006 I visited Bleakholt where we met 'Handsome' – a ten year old bit of everything in the 'old woofs' re-homing area. We fell in love and we took him home with us a week later.

BLEAKHOLT ANIMAL SANCTUARY

Nestled on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Irwell valley, Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary is a charity committed to caring for dogs, cats, equine and farm animals and small pets.

Our aim is to find happy, loving homes for our dogs, cats, rabbits and other small animals and those that cannot be re-homed will spend the rest of their days in our care along with our equine and farm animals. On a cold Winter's day the 'Bleak' in Bleakholt really means something! However our staff and volunteers are relentless in their dedication to care for our animals and none of this would be possible without your support.

So our event will be raising much needed funds to help this Amazing Charity. We have an amazing Auction soon to be announced, plus lots of raffle prizes.

If anyone has any spare towels or blankets (clean) plus any dog food or treats they would like to donate please bring them to THE ELEVENTH HOUR GIFT SHOP AND BOUTIQUE.
