French assistance

Jilly Cotterell has written in with the following request for help:

"Do you need FREE HELP (in return for board and lodging) for 3 months this

summer? A very pleasant 20 year old French man, Charles, a university

engineering student (Ecole Superieure) has to perfect his English as part of

his course. Can you help – even if you can only offer 2 or 3 weeks?"

"The whole period we're looking to cover could be, say, from mid-June to mid-September or perhaps early July to end of September. He would be willing to act as an au pair or undertake any general tasks around the home in order to get a chance to improve his spoken English."
