Found: Black Labrador (now updated)

Found, this morning, by one of our paperboys, a mature black labrador dog  wandering around Cheshire Street, wearing a black buckled collar but no tag.

The dog is now at Williams' newsagents in the Square awaiting collection by owner.

(Update) Returning from a family funeral in Manchester, I am pleased to report the black labrador's owner had picked up the dog minutes before I got back to the shop.

Unfortunately, for my troubles, I have been left with a badly gnawed door frame and also minus a full box of chocolates (left on a high shelf!).

Would the owner kindly get in touch with me at the shop, and may I kindly advise that a tag (with contact details) is acquired for the animal, as my staff were told it is a serial offender!
