Football Rained Off Again

Ed – Once again we are deprived (by the weather) of a proper football report – the weekend seems somehow unsatisfactory and incomplete....

Sadly I am again reporting that no Audlem Football Club game took place this weekend. Pitches all still of quagmire status across the region. Just four games managed to play with seven cancelled.

Night matches?

There are fears that we may have to face some night matches if conditions do not begin to improve.

Valentine's Day Fixture

We are scheduled to play at home on Valentine's Day -- perhaps with lots of heart but no kissing! As we face the strength of Wistaston again, but now in the league. They beat us 4-0 in the cup match we managed earlier on.
Kick off will be 11.00am with referee Darren Waters (no meteorological ill-omen here we hope!) in charge.
Hope above hope that the playing field is playable.

Perhaps our lucky charm spectator Dianne will be there and ensure a win for us .
