(The website link that was here no longer works) Considerable imagination and artistry was on show at Audlem Methodist Church this last weekend. A range of floral displays, depicting the theme 'To everything there is a season', delighted the numerous visitors. The combination of colour, form and scent was both calming and inspiring. On view, in addition to the flowers, was a colourful, audio-visual exhibition about AMC. This included a popular video showing scenes from the church's life over the last year. Tempting refreshments were available at all times, with lots of delicious home-baking consumed by the visitors.

On the Saturday evening, an organ recital was given by Peter Crompton, Director of Music at The Royal Hospital School, Ipswich. It was given in memory of his late brother, John, and it raised nearly £700 for Leukaemia Research. Well-attended services on Sunday completed the weekend.

Photos from the festival can be viewed at www.audlemmethodistchurch.org.uk (The website link that was here no longer works) . Thank you to all in the village who helped and supported.
