(The website link that was here no longer works) Today, Friday 4th July sees the start of a Flower Festival weekend at Audlem Methodist Church (The website link that was here no longer works) . From today to Sunday 6th July, the Methodist Church will be decorated and open to visitors. A number of floral arrangements illustrating the theme 'to everything there is a season' will adorn the church. In the Seville Room, there will be an audio-visual display depicting life in a village church at the beginning of the twenty-first century. In the hall, refreshments will be available at all times. These will include hot breakfast baps at mealtimes, along with lots of tempting home-baking.

On the Saturday evening an organ recital is being given in memory of the late John Crompton by his brother Peter. Peter Crompton is Director of Music at The Royal Hospital School, Ipswich, and is an accomplished recitalist. Proceeds from the organ recital will go towards Leukaemia Research.

There will be services on the Sunday (10.30 am and 6.30 pm) at which all will be welcome.
