Dear Editors thought you would like to see Cheshire East's response below in which they say the matter is closed.
However at 18.35 hours I took the following picture which clearly shows the flooding is still there, how can the matter be closed?. Call me a cynic but I think the Highways Department is fiddling it's clear up rate ?
Regards Chris Spring
PS This is not the first time they have claimed this issue is fixed when it isn't.
PPS They haven't phoned me either !!!
I have made a further FOI request re the number of reported incidents & will be in touch when it's received, only CEC are clearly simply ignoring this issue despite their statutory duty.
