Ed: We are often asked what the village flags are celebrating, so we have captured this response from Ralph Warburton which hopefully explains it all .
We started this in the year 2000. The millennium .
Then we decided to keep the practice going to support the Music Festival. The Party on the Park. The Festival of Transports and then , finally Armistice Day .
So many folks liked this and we have many visitors who come because of the flags. So long as I am around, we will continue with this display .
