The programme for this year's Audlem Festival is filling up, with around 25 bands/events now arranged and more about to be confirmed. Over the next couple of days, Audlem Online will be giving a first taste of the music that's planned for the Festival, which runs from 25-28th May.

Friday 25th opens with Flight 505 and Nemo & The Trent Vale Poet playing at the Public Hall. Tickets are just £5 and the doors open at 8.00pm. The pubs are all laying on music too with Audlem's very own Duffey Boys booked for The Lord Combermere; Gambler (previously Rockin' Horse) at the Shroppie Fly and another band, to be confirmed, at The Bridge.

Saturday sees an even fuller programme with six venues already booked. In the Public Hall it's Mez Fest and The Defense and others yet to be booked. Admission to this feast of music is just £4 and the doors open at 7.00pm.

The other venues get underway on Saturday morning with Back Row Plus at the Methodist Hall and Andy Boote playing Blues Alley in the afternoon from 2.00pm. In the pubs, Heavy Weather are playing at the Shroppie Fly while the JVC Trio and another band, to be confirmed, are at The Lord Combermere. The Bridge will also be hosting a band (tbc).

Tomorrow, we will feature the programme for the Sunday and Monday. A highlight will be the St James' School performance in St James' Church on the Sunday evening, which was hugely popular last year. Monday will , of course, also be Carnival day
