First Aid training at Youth Club

This and next week at youth club, we have some basic first aid training by 'Heartstart Audlem'.

In this week's session Heartstart will look at:-

• When to make a 999 call; what information to give
• How to deal with serious bleeding
• How to look after an unconscious, but breathing, casualty

In next week's follow up session:

• Understanding the 'Chain of Survival'
• What is the difference between a heart attack and a cardiac arrest?
• How to look after someone having a heart attack
• How to look after someone having a cardiac arrest
• How to use an AED (automated external defibrillator)

We hope to see from our normal time of 7:00. First aid for those interested will be from 7:30 for one hour.
