Firewalk This Saturday

With the very generous permission of Adam Rodda of the Bridge Pub, a group of residents etc will take the walk on about 20 foot of hot embers . All in the attempt to raise funds for that wonderful establishment, St Luke's Hospice for the excellent works that they do .

The event takes place on the 7th, next Saturday. I do urge all to come and be a witness on the night. Best to be here for 6.30pm as we are expecting very good moral support .

Excellent dining with a very good chef and I can heartily recommend the starter of black pudding, poached eggs and on a goodly piece of bacon . I will be dining there with my family , of which one of my sons will be taking the walk .

A great night. A hot night for the participants and a fine way to make money for the Hospice .
