Firefighters wanted in Audlem

Cheshire Fire Service is looking to recruit people to work as firefighters on its retained duty system at Audlem Fire Station. The role provides an on-call service to respond to emergency calls in the same way as full-time firefighters, using the same appliances and equipment.

Retained firefighters have to live or work near to the fire station and must be able to arrive there within five minutes of being alerted. They need to be fit, in good health and aged between 18 and 55 years. The service is particularly keen to hear from people who are available during weekdays.
