Finances tight on Audlem events this summer

ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team, has just published the accounts for its two big summer events. Despite the atrocious weather on the night, the Proms on the Park on 30th June made a small surplus – £78. Income was £15,670 while expenditure was £15,592. Two thirds of the income is made up of ticket sales with the balance from sponsorship, the sale of lanterns and flags, gazebo sites, stalls, £1,000 from Audlem Parish Council and donations.

In contrast, last weekend's Festival of Transport made a small loss of £22 with expenditure of £3,142 and income of £3,120.
