Sunday 27th July is Audlem Festival of Transport with a cavalcade of hundreds of classic vehicles from 1910 to today through the village, including cars, military vehicles, motor cycles and commercials. Over 300 entries have been received by ASET, the Audlem Special Events Team, the Festival's organisers. It's always a great sight and after the parade, the vehicles can be inspected on the playing field.
A highlight will be a fabulous aerial display by the RAF Spitfire from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, although such flights are always subject to weather conditions. There's a hog roast, fairground rides and much else on the playing fields plus all the vehicles to be inspected. It promises to be a great day out in Audlem.
There'll be more details of the event over the next few days on Audlem Online.
