Come & visit us today, we are celebrating the Audlem Music Festival by putting on our own little "feastival" at Number 11.
We are joining forces with Rose Petals & Rice over the coming weekend to bring you Indian cooking demonstrations using our fine produce!
The cooking demos will take place at 10.15 and 2.00pm today and on Bank Holiday Monday, in between times we will have serving lunch sized portions of the dishes – the perfect bite to eat in between the musical performances.
Don't tell too many people but if you come along to the cooking demo we may have some 10% off postcards to use against any purchase in Oxtail & Trotter (Valid in May/June only) and against any purchase of a cookery course with Rose Petals & Rice...just between us ok?
And of course we will also have the usual superb display of fine meat, poultry and deli items to tempt you with this weekend and I can tell you that we have had a lot of deliveries this week – the cold room is fit to burst, it looks pretty similar to the Christmas week!
The Sauce Queen has kindly re-stocked us with Brandy & peppercorn sauce to enjoy with your dry aged steak, as well as Porcini Mushroom & Tomato & Chilli Sauces, we have some smoked salmon available and also the BRAND NEW Powells Pies!
Powells Pies are handmade in Tushingham by Andrew & Marie Powell, they are made to a recipe that has been handed down through 4 generations of Powells – these are seriously good pies.
The Powell moto has always been "never put in a pie anything that you wouldn't want to see on your plate"- the attention to detail certainly shows. Come and try one – we will have tasters available this weekend.
Opening Times Saturday 8.30 – 4.00pm; Sunday Closed; Monday 10.00am – 4.00pm. We look forward to enjoying the music festival with you all
