FatPigeonLive, Live – Tonight!

The motley crew at FatPigeonLive are broadcasting another of their live music sessions this evening at 8pm

Tonight's artists are Philip Henry & Hannah Martin, aka Edgelarks, live from the somewhat unusual venue of St Lawrence's Church, Biddulph.

Philip & Hannah's musical career grew from humble beginnings touring rural Devon in a caravan to winning folk awards and sharing stages with the likes of Seth Lakeman & Steeleye Span's Peter Knight.

Having already released three critically acclaimed albums – and won the coveted BBC Folk Award in 2014 – they're now embarking on a new venture under the name Edgelarks.

The Guardian's Robin Denselow defined Edgelarks as "bravely original", with Martin Chilton of The Telegraph praising the pair as "imaginative and innovative", and describing their performance as an "unusual treat".
