Fatal crash collision

Audlem and area's residents were shocked and saddened last week by the death of Les Whalley who died after his car collided with a tree near his home between Hankelow and Hatherton on the A529. Messages have been sent to Audlem Online expressing their sympathy to Susan and all Les' family.

The police are seeking any witnesses to the accident which happened last Wednesday, 11th October, at 11.17pm. Les was travelling in a blue Peugeot 405 car when it left the road and was in collision with a tree 300 metres towards Audlem from the junction with Bridgemere Lane. Anyone who can help is asked to call PC Mark Shawcroft of Cheshire Police on 0845 458 0000.
