So, here it is, starting Saturday 21st March, brought to you by the combined creative talents of ThenMedia, Hollow Floor Studios and Hoc19 Events, the resurgence of the Fat Pigeon.

Live 'Studio' Gigs with bands and performers you want to see and hear, in an intimate audience setting. FPL will be recording 'Live' sets for performers and bands which you can share in the experience, and look out for the FatPigeonLive broadcasts coming online in the very near future:

Fat Pigeon Live is proud to confirm that this first event features The Reads and also introduces Lydia O'Dowd.

The Reads are Marcel Delrue, Jamie Russell, Stuart Bennett, Clare Stevenson, Matty Goddard and Chris Goddard and accompanied by Clare 'Fluff' Smith with her fiddle a part of the Audlem Festival music scene for a few years now.

They bring their own laid-back selves to conjure up moments of Ambient-electro-folk-rock, a varied mix within a festival of eclectic sounds. From lyrical story telling at its best to gentle humour, this band will keep you in their spell.

The Reads second album Lost at Sea is a creative evolution from Stories from the Borders album, and singles Spitting Feathers and Scarlet are not shy from appearing on the radio waves of BBC Radio 2, Radio Wales and Radio Merseyside to name a few. Janice Long, for one, is a long time fan of their music.

This gig here in Audlem is a run up to appearing with Finley Quaye at the Live Rooms in Chester on April 10th.
FatPigeonLive can confirm that in the 'Introducing' slot for this gig we have talented singer/songwriter Lydia O'Dowd. A UK Teen Star Finalist, Lydia is building a loyal fan base following the release of her new single Chemical Reaction.

The FatPigeonLive event will be filmed and recorded live, and you can be part of that audience, think Jools Holland with a slice of the Old Grey Whistle test and a touch of TFI Friday.
