A fabulous weekend of live music

(The website link that was here no longer works) Get ready for a fabulous weekend of music at the Shroppie Fly with four nights of live music starting on Friday with a very special international music night with ''Mary Lee's Corvette and the Velvets' from the USA and Audlem's favourite musician, Jim Kirkpatrick. It should be a great night with Jim just back from the States. On Saturday Silva are playing while Sunday sees 'Jake Stigers and the Velvet Roots' supported by 'Rockin Horse' for another one-off special. Jake is the brother of the jazz musician Curtis Stigers. The Shroppie is clearly on the music map because straight after Audlem, Jake and his band are playing at the legendary Cavern Club in Liverpool. On Monday there is, of course, the well established Folk Jam night. It's four nights of great live music and it isn't even Audlem Festival time – that all kicks off in another couple of weeks!
