Events and activities are being lined up across Cheshire East in celebration of Libraries Week.

Taking place from October 9th – 14th, Libraries Week is an annual showcase of the creative, innovative and diverse activities that libraries have to offer.

Throughout the week, Cheshire East libraries will be holding a variety of events for all ages, including a Lego club, library discovery trail and rhyme-time and story-time sessions for children, e-reading sessions, current affairs discussions, coffee mornings and a murder mystery event for adults.

For a full list of activities, please visit your local library, check the library's dedicated Facebook page or visit: cheshireeast.gov.uk/libraries

Pop into the library during the week and view our book display, featuring 'Read it Swap it' and an 'I Love my Library' message book.

We also have a Book Quest: Library Discovery Trail for children of primary school age. Free, just drop in during the week.

On Thursday 12 October at 2.30 – 4.00pm, we have Afternoon Story and Tea with special guest, Dean Fraser, aka The Quantum Poet. Dean will be reading from his fifth and latest poetry collection, Beyond Poetry. Come and enjoy refreshments, company and poetry at this free drop-in session.
