Could you help save Audlem's After School Club at Audlem Treehouse? This service is now seriously under threat. If a replacement supervisor is not found by the 18th March, the scheme will close in April and a vital facility for many families could be lost forever.

Audlem Online has received messages saying what a brilliant resource it is for the community, an important part of the jigsaw which helps to keep Audlem thriving. It is vital in helping to support families living in the village, as well as key to attracting new ones.

Audlem is fantastically lucky to have an excellent After School facility for its children. It provides imaginative care for children living in and around Audlem and a key role in helping to support working parents. Many families use the resource for a few hours most weeks – and it has helped support mothers returning to part-time work.

The children are just as enthusiastic as the parents:

"I love making things at After School," says Georgie, aged 6;

"I love seeing my friends at the Treehouse," adds Millie, aged 6;

"I really enjoy playing football with the older children there," says Joe, aged 9.

The Treehouse was created about five years ago in the school grounds after a long-standing fundraising campaign. Many people helped raise the significant amount of money. The Treehouse is home to various community facilities including After School.

This was the original request for the After School supervisor appointment:
