A local resident writes: "My 26 year old daughter who chooses not to drive presently due to her Autism/Aspergers has noticed that the bus timetable has been changed significantly as of today and the last midweek bus to Audlem is now 15:58 as opposed to 18:05.

"This is quite a change. She attends a Autism support group in Crewe on Wednesday afternoons as well as having to travel to Chester fortnightly for 1:1 Autism support counselling.

"She is a great supporter of public transport on environmental grounds. This was already quite a challenge from Audlem but achievable, now it's not.

"I did note from the Survey performed earlier in the year that buses didn't appear to be of high importance to the residents and at the time I wondered why.

"Is anyone else concerned by this reduction in local services?

"I'm happy to write to the council and our MP on the matter unless this is already in hand."

AudlemOnline adds: If you are concerned about this change, please let AudlemOnline know as our correspondent is happy to take the matter up with anyone who can help.
