Energy Efficiency Assessments for properties in Audlem – ADAPT

With energy prices likely to rise in the future, it makes sense to implement cost effective improvements to the energy efficiency of your home. Having an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Assessment is one way of gaining that understanding.

ADAPT's Energy And Transport Group is keen to promote energy efficiency and can now announce that locally delivered EPC assessments will now be available in Audlem and District.

Group member and Audlem resident, Nic Goodwin, is an accredited Domestic Energy and Green Deal Assessor. Nic is offering EPC assessments of dwellings to residents of Audlem and District at the following rates, which are inclusive of VAT:

  • Up to 4 beds: £54
  • 5 to 6 beds   £66
  • 7 beds +        £90

The advice provided from the EPC survey will be personal to and specifically based on your property and will provide options (if suitable) based on your occupancy and lifestyle.

You can see what an Energy Performance Certificate looks like by clicking here.

For a further payment of £5 the EPC can be lodged with Landmark which makes the EPC valid for the purposes of selling the house.

Nic has also teamed up with local assessor Dr Tim Havard who is highly qualified and able to provide assessments for all types of businesses or non-domestic properties. Indicative costs are:

  • Small shop/small office suite/simple industrial building – £75
  • Small office building/medium sized shop – £125
  • Larger office buildings/convenience stores/more complex industrial buildings £250

ADAPT feel that these personalised assessments offer the community the opportunity to understand clearly what energy efficiency options are open to them. After all, the cheapest energy is energy you don't use!
