Embroiderers' Guild Christmas party

On Thursday, 3rd December, the South Cheshire Embroiderers' Guild held their annual Christmas Lunch.

As usual, the venue was Brookfield Golf Club and, as we've come to expect, they did us proud, from the wonderfully decorated room, choice and standard of food and of course the helpful and friendly staff.

Our speaker, Sandra Wallace, travelled some distance to be with us and brought her large collection of Beadwork items from all over the world. Alongside these, was her own beautifully crafted Beadwork and Felted work with many items being passed around for handling and closer inspection.

After the talk and lunch, there were raffle prizes to be won and the gifts of donated pincushions "made by members to be given to members" was an extremely well supported new project for this festive meeting.
