Drains explored again in village centre

Audlem Online's 'underground' reporter says that work started on the drains near the fire station at the crack of dawn this morning. This time, however, rather than working on the damaged sewer reported a week ago, it was the storm drain that was being investigated.

Our correspondent reports that it's a Welsh team carrying out the work which started at 5.30am today. There is, it seems, an irregular smell of sewage in the area which has led to so much investigatory work.
