Double Yellows come first

In an earlier report on the state of the road outside the Moseley's Yard development, it was said that the sewers and drains are in desperate need of repair; the road surface needs repairing; a safety barrier needs erecting outside the Co-op entrance, but that we were prepared to forecast that the first job that would be completed would be the painting of double yellow lines!

This morning, work started on the road – with the double yellow lines being, of course, the first job tackled.
