Having secured the league title on Saturday, Sunday saw Audlem Saints U9s play a cup game vs Crewe Terriers. A second game in a weekend was potentially a big ask for the boys but they responded well.
Very confident, relaxed football saw them establish a 2-0 lead with two well worked goals. Once in control, Saints played some really pleasing one touch football and created many chances. The third goal though was an individual effort and started with the Audlem striker winning the ball in a tackle on the half way line. From there he sprinted clear of two pursuers, beat two more defenders with tricks before smashing the ball into the roof of the net. A nice way to wrap up a 3-0 victory.
