The Audlem Scout & Guide Headquarters Committee have contacted Audlem Online to say: "Thank you to everyone who has supported the Audlem Scout & Guide Hall Restoration Appeal with a donation. We are pleased to report that the grand total so far is £4,600. We still have a little way to go to reach our target and, therefore, any further donations would be more than welcome".

"However, we are now in a position to make a definite start with the full project on 24th July. This involves new toilets including a disabled toilet; new windows; new floor; new suspended ceiling reducing the height for heating and acoustics; up-grading the heating; renewing all the electrical wiring; a new entrance lobby; re-pointing the entire building; new front doors; new lighting and some general upgrading where required".

"The hall was built in 1843 and deserves all the above. Maybe you went to school there!"

If you would like to make a donation and/or return your gift aid form, the Renovation Project contact is Mrs Christine Cottrell, The Stables, Kynsal Lodge, Kinsey Heath, Audlem CW3 0DR. You can telephone on 01270 811454.
