Donation Double-Up Fundraiser for Nantwich Foodbank

The Rotary Club of Nantwich President, Geoff Parsons, is delighted to announce a 'donation double-up' week supporting the Nantwich Foodbank.

Said Geoff: "Working with the Nantwich Foodbank and Morrisons supermarket in Nantwich, the Rotary club will match donations made from the 9th October to 15th October, 2023."

Tony Hoy, Nantwich Rotary Club Community Lead, said: "Demand from the Nantwich Foodbank always increases during school holidays and this Double-Up fundraiser is timed to make additional essential food available for our local families during the October half term."

"You can help by picking up one of the Foodbank donation bags in the front of Morrisons supermarket in Nantwich, which you then pay for at the checkout.

Between 9th and 15th October The Rotary Club of Nantwich will match-fund the donations made up to a total of £1,000 for the week."

"This donation will be given to the Nantwich Foodbank in cash so they can buy what is most needed rather than simply doubling the amount of food donated. I really hope all our Morrisons shoppers will get behind us and pop a donation bag in their supermarket trolley," concluded Hoy.
