Dog fouling has been a matter of concern in the village whether along the canal towpath or on the playing field where children could be at risk. The Parish Newsletter has highlighted this concern on several occasions and encouraged dog walkers to use the dog bins provided.

Now, as reported in the Minutes of the June 2008 Parish Council meeting, Parish Councillor Philip Bradbury Smith has undertaken a review of the position of dog bins in Audlem. The attached pdf file (download dog bins file here (The website link that was here no longer works) ) shows the current position of 12 bins and the proposed sites for a further 3 bins.

If you have any comments on the proposal or suggestions of alternative sites then please contact the Clerk to Audlem Parish Council – Jean White by week ending 25th July. Her contact details are: Mrs Jean White, Clerk to Audlem Parish Council, Rosecroft, Dodds Green Lane, Burleydam, Nr Whitchurch, Shropshire SY13 4AT Phone: 01948 871383 e-mail: parishcouncil@audlem.org">parishcouncil@audlem.org.
