Digital TV switchover

The final stage of digital TV switchover in this area is now apparently complete.

In the early hours of this morning a lot of channels went off the air as the last part of the changeover to the Winter Hill transmitter was done.

You may well need to retune your TV/DVD/digibox to get these "disappeared" channels properly tuned back in. Sometimes this happens automatically, but if not there is a pdf file containing information about the retuning process on the digitaluk website –

With any luck we will not now have the Welsh stations in our living rooms unless we specifically tune into them!
