Did anyone else spot the Gloucester Meteor Jet aircraft fly directly over Audlem yesterday (Saturday) at around 3.00pm. It was on its final flight after taking off from Coventry airport with a circular flight path to Leicestershire where it will become a museum piece.

The Gloucester Meteor first went into service with the RAF in 1943 with the newly developed jet engine invented by Sir Frank Whittle and saw service in WW2.
