Regular Audlem Online readers will recall the River De-Nile that flowed across Shropshire Street for months before the leak was fixed. We have just received the following message about the river resurfacing – how long will it take this time to fix?

Our correspondent writes: "Its now five days since the River De-nile came to the surface again down at the bottom end of the village (western end) and there are thousands of gallons going off down the road. So could this be the start of a new competion? Funny, though, it's only started after workmen put fresh tarmac around the manhole cover,so we will see how long this will take."

Since this story appeared early this morning, another correspondent has written to say (at 8.45am): "I have reported a leak in Bagley Lane near the junction with the A 529 Market Drayton Road. There were some barriers in place so I thought it was being attended to but they have now gone and the water is still flowing."
