NEMi are proud to announce that on Wednesday we won the gold award for our milk at Nantwich Show in the best 'Health Drink' category!

Moreover, we have just launched Nemi milk in over forty Co-op's throughout Lancashire as part of the 'Truly Local' scheme – see further details' below. The hope is that should this be a success in Lancashire, we will then get the opportunity to supply Cheshire Co-op's also.

Additionally we are very proud to supply all of Sunrise Senior Living and Gracewell Healthcare's Care Communities nationally. This is a key account for NEMi and it is fantastic to have the support of one of the country's leading care providers.

In London, too, we have been growing. We now supply a plethora of customers, from the luxurious world-renowned hotel Claridge's to Soho Dairy – a stall in the centre of the famous Berwick Street market.

Indeed for NEMi, it is uplifting to witness support from such a variety of different areas and catering avenues – all of which have championed our ethos to pay a fair and sustainable milk price.

Positivity is crucial in a such a volatile and unstable industry and here at NEMi we will continue to endeavour to do all that we can to rally behind and support our fabulous British dairy famers.

Udderly Brilliant, Lancashire Co-ops to stock Local NEMi Milk

Co-op's throughout Lancashire have chosen to stock NEMi Milk from July 28th. Locally produced and processed in Woodplumpton, Lancashire, NEMi Dairy is committed to supporting British dairy farmers and vows to pay them a fair and sustainable price.

At the end of July, Co-ops in Lancashire are due to roll out their 'Truly Local' scheme which will see many national brands replaced with local alternatives.

One product that we will now see on the Co-ops' shelves is NEMi Milk, the first dairy in Europe to naturally enrich their milk with anti-oxidants.

With its popularity ever increasing throughout the UK, Lancashire's NEMi is now the milk used in Claridge's, throughout the Firmdale Hotel Group and nationally in all Sunrise Senior Living Care Communities.

Founder of NEMi, Andrew Henderson, (a resident of Audlem) thinks that the Co-op's initiative demonstrates a turning point in the needs of the British customer. "The ever increasing demand for local and sustainable produce is a positive sign that British people believe it is important that we protect local agricultural businesses."

NEMi Dairy is a small business dedicated to the welfare of their farmers, their cows and their customers. Every part of the supply chain is 100% sustainable, resulting in happy farmers, happy cows and happy customers.

AudlemOnline adds: There's a strong Audlem connection through the Henderson family and Dr Russell Muirhead who has been involved in the company since its inception. Their milk has been on sale in Audlem for some time and it's really good to see them achieve this major break-through in Lancashire. Let's hope the Co-op in Cheshire will follow suit.
