Dead Dog in Hatherton – Update

Ed: We recently published an article on AudlemOnline about a Dead Dog found in Hatherton. We have not had anyone contact us regarding ownership, but have recently received the following message from Rachel Carroll of ANSA

Good morning. I have read an article on your website regarding the deceased dog reported between Hatherton & Hankelow recently. I am the Street Cleansing Team Leader for ANSA Environmental Services, based at Pyms Lane Depot, Crewe, and my team collected the dog on the Thursday 4th February. The dog isn't chipped so I am unable to trace the owner. Have you had any response from your article? If you have could you pass on my contact details please? We have a chest freezer at the depot so I have been able to keep it there. Many thanks, Rachel
