It's not just what they said about the first airings of Daystar's newest play 'A Bad Penny' at Granary Theatre Wells-next-the sea.

"As there are several roles to play, the scripts (as well as the actors) must exhibit considerable style and ingenuity.
"The plot is amusing, clever, ingenious. The acting, as ever, is deft. Day Star is one of the quirkiest, most watchable touring companies around."

Take it a step further, It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the period depicted by Daystar's newest performance ' A Bad Penny'.

Live the 60s...it's about you having your say and you can experience the 60s yourself at next Saturday's performance in Audlem in the world-famous theatre venue at the Scout & Guide Hall.

Come dressed for the period and experience the 60s Cafe Theatre atmosphere, really enter in to the play.

Renowned for psychedelic colours, 'flower power', hippy and for the great swinging sixties, put on your sandals, bell bottom jeans with a tie dyed tank top or try out the Austin Powers look feeling daring, mini skirts out girls with the long boots, and don't skimp on the hair, beehives and beetle crops.

Fetch the wicker basket, a few brown ales, Snowball and a Babycham or two, throw in some Devilled eggs, Plain crisps with an onion dip or the late sixties saw the start of the fondue so you could try a chocolate fondue! The 1960's was definitely a low point for beer, so sorry boys. You could try Carling Black Label!
