Today's Daily Express gives its centre double page spread over to Audlem's Amazing Grace effort to raise money for Mend our Mum.

Hannah Britt has written a superb article which starts:

"As the sound of Amazing Grace filled the air, you would be forgiven for assuming that the Christmas carol season had started early in the village of Audlem in South Cheshire."

There is the photo of the 300 or so residents singing on the mound and in-depth interviews with Berni, Hannah and Terri Cliffe.

Later on the article says: "There were more than 1,100 volunteers who wanted to take part so Ralph and his team split them into groups and filmed everything over a three-week period starting at the end of November.

"Firefighters, schoolchildren, pub-goers, bell-ringers, the Women's Institute, church congregations and many local businesses all rehearsed in the groups and delivered their lines perfectly."

The article concludes with the link to Mend our Mum's website and says to donate go to gofundme.com/cij464 and giving hopefully, a further boost to fund-raising, which has been going fantastically.
