CRT on the Canal

The Canal and River Trust has commenced work on the canal in the village.

Work on Lock 9, which is partially drained, involves repair to masonry works. Work on Lock 11 is a new top gate.

This lock is by the gate into the Turnpike Field -- there is a temporary bridge across the canal allowing access to the field.
The works are estimated to take approximately ten weeks.
