Cricketers hope for better weather tomorrow

Last Saturday’s 1st XI match against lowly Didsbury was yet another one that fell foul of this summer’s weather.  As a result they have now lost any realistic chance of promotion from Division 2 as the top two teams both played and won, leaving Audlem a massive 80 points from second place.  Tomorrow the 1st XI travel to ninth-placed Styal, hoping to their first July match.

The 2nd XI, following a blank weekend, welcome league newcomers Chester Asian 1st XI, who are the runaway leaders in Division 4.  Again, this will be the team’s first match in July and it starts at the Gorse Croft at 1.30 pm.

The Sunday XI entertain Windsor Wesleyans for a friendly match that starts at 2.00 pm.
