Cricket Report – Rain stops Play (Probably!)

It seems likely that the start of the cricket season is to be delayed – too many pitches are suffering from the weather and cannot be prepared in time for the current official start date (20th April) and the friendly before then may also be consequently delayed.

The first Sunday game is 28th April home to Macclesfield.

Having said that, due to the sterling efforts of John Wainwright and Lenny Meredith, the club buildings look immaculate! There is now a recently refitted ladies changing room – very plush!

And bringing the club into the forefront of technology – a portable electronic score board.
