Audlem Cricket Club recently celebrated their successful season, which ended in promotion for the 1st XI, with their Annual Dinner and Awards Evening at the Lord Combermere.
The awards for the 2008 season were as follows:
1st XI batting average – Tom Measures
2nd XI batting average – Norman Hindle
1st XI bowling average – Rick Brown
2nd XI bowling average – Roy Wild
Highest number of catches – Chris Shenton
Most improved player – Oliver Burney
Champagne moment – Graham Jones
Players' player of the year – Lyndon Woodcock
