Council elections tomorrow

AudlemOnline has featured the Parliamentary election in recent days with its Live Debate on Friday evening, an event which has attracted much comment on Chatbox since then.

Today, it's timely to remind everyone that the council elections for Cheshire East are also taking place this Thursday, 7th May.

Five candidates are standing for the Audlem ward:

• Rachel Bailey, Conservative Party
• Celia Bloor, Green Party
• Lisa Flavell-Matts, UK Independence Party, UKIP
• Brian Halson, Liberal Democrats
• Sarah Parker, Labour Party.

As reported four weeks ago, Audlem Parish Council saw twelve candidates stand for the twelve seats available and it was therefore an uncontested election with no voting on 7th May.
