Morris Care's Corbrook Court Nursing and Residential Home invited the children from St. James' school to join together with the residents to celebrate the magic of Christmas. Children from the Audlem Primary School sang a selection of well known Christmas songs and carols to a captivated audience with many residents joining in with their favourites.

Andrea Heath, Nurse Manager, explained how wonderful it was to have the children visit the home and highlighted the joy of bringing different generations together: "We are delighted that two very different generations have been brought together by their love of music. The children and residents enjoyed each others' company and swapped stories and chatted after the children had finished their songs."

She added: "I am delighted that this event went so well and that it created so much happiness for all at this time of year. We would like to thank the children of Audlem St. James School and their teachers for giving up their time to come and visit us and for sharing their beautiful voices with our residents."
