The History event continues today at Corbrook Court. There is still full access to us from Audlem even though the road signs are stating that the road is closed! My banners for the fences at Corbrook will still go up and all will run as planned.

Apparently, according to the Highways Authority, we should have been notified about the road re-surfacing 3 to 4 weeks ago.

So, in a nutshell, I am shouting loudly that we are still accessible! I am also checking on the diversion signs from Nantwich.

History EventCorbrook Country Estate's History Event started last night and continues today, Saturday.

It is open to all and includes many photographs and documents along with a copy of a mid 19th Century map (1842). The map has the names of the area's occupants at that time and there will be similar from 1910.

There will be photos, maps, manuscripts and memories of the Audlem area and its residents.

All are welcome and please bring personal items of interest to share. Entrance is free and refreshments will be available. There's ample free parking and full disabled facilities.

The Exhibition is open today, Saturday 27th March, from 10.00am – 3.00pm.

Cedar Court, Corbrook Country Estate, Audlem (CW3 0HF) is situated on the A529, 1 mile north of Audlem towards Nantwich. Please ignore the road closed signs in Audlem.

The organisers are Morris Residential in cooperation with Audlem History Society and Cheshire Archives & Local Studies Office.

It is hoped that visitors will be able to bring along further information to share at what promises to be a very interesting and enjoyable event.
