Corbrook Country Estate a major local development

Guests at last week's official opening of Corbrook Court's 24-bed extension by broadcaster, journalist and ex-nurse Clare Rayner also had an opportunity to tour the new Corbrook Country Estate, which offers 'Independent Living for an Independent Lifestyle'.

Set in over 11 acres of grounds just outside Audlem, the country estate is a development of 19 one- and two-bedroom apartments and two semi-detached bungalows available to purchase by those over the age of 65 and/or in need of personal care. The development provides an independent lifestyle to those wishing to continue to own their own home but with the security and comfort of having help and support on site.

The properties are situated behind Corbrook Court Care Home which offers long and short stay nursing care for the frail and elderly. As well as offering help day and night, the country estate includes communal dining facilities, a hairdresser on site every week, a communal conservatory and opportunities to socialize with like-minded people. There is both on-site parking and wheelchair access. The show home is now open.

The Country Estate represents a very significant investment in the Audlem area in addition to the 24-room extension in the Corbrook Court Care Home. That has created new job opportunities and brought new people in to the area both as residents and staff. One new employee, who had moved from the West Midlands to work at Corbrook Court, said how much she was loving the Audlem area as she showed guests around at the official opening.
