Concert success

May I, on behalf of the Scout and Guide Hall committee, thank all the 150 people who came and enjoyed the splendid Macclesfield Silk Brass Band on Saturday night at St. James's Church.

The band said it was such a pleasure to play in our beautiful church, with both the setting and its accoustics.

The event raised £250 which is very helpful for our Beavers, Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Guides and the senior section of the Guides.

We plan to repeat the evening at a later date. Thank you for your support.
