Don't forget that a computer training course starts this Monday in the Methodist Hall, Audlem. Run by Walford & North Shropshire College, it starts with a 2 hour session at 1.15pm on Monday 4th September and costs £69 for 36 weeks, including registration, tuition and certificate.

If you want to learn how to use a computer, learn various packages on the computer or want an opportunity to change career, this course could be for you. Beginners are welcome at all sessions. Study is flexible – you work at your own pace using high quality resources and tutor assistance is provided when required. Students can join throughout the year, if a place is available. Please contact the college to book your place on 01939 262100 and ask for 'IT in the Community' Courses. The course is held at Woore, Whitchurch and Market Drayton as well as Audlem.

The OCR CLAIT 2006 courses cover the basic concepts of computer use to either the Certificate or Diploma stage at Levels 1 and 2 (NVQ equivalent levels). This includes File Management; Word Processing; Spreadsheets; Graphs & Charts; Databases; Desktop Publishing; Powerpoint presentation; Computer Art and Web Page creation.
