Community Projects Group planning bids for village projects

The Community Projects Group on the Parish Plan is preparing three bids for projects including woodland planting, pedestrian finger signposts in the village and for three 'dioramas' with attractive illustrated maps of the village which would be positioned on the car park, by the canal and near the village centre. The application forms are extremely complex and need to be with Cheshire County Council by 31st March. The Group has also been making progress on the plans for improved sports facilities, which is the single largest project in the Parish Plan, and has been identifying the possible funding bodies to be approached.
